Actor
Chad Lowe will be on the John Carroll University campus for the filming
of a documentary focusing on the issue of global warming.
Several John Carroll students will be involved in this
production. |
WHAT:
|
This
film project is associated with the “Live Earth” concert series,
promoted and supported by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. Seven concerts
will be held on seven continents on July 7, 2007, with the goal of examining
the issue of worldwide climate change.
Gore recently has been nominated for a Nobel Prize in
recognition of his efforts to raise awareness about the effects of global
warming. Mr. Gore won a 2007 Academy Award for his film, “An Inconvenient
Truth.” |
