ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting American Cancer Society programs in college communities. There are over 175 chapters across the country.

The John Carroll University chapter of Colleges Against Cancer concentrates on three primary areas: advocacy, education, and survivorship, in addition to acting as the official parent organization of the Relay For Life held each April. Sample activities include visiting cancer patients in an area hospital and the Great American Smokeout.
