GREAT AMERICAN SMOKEOUT
Lung & Throat Cancer Awareness

The Great American Smokeout is a day when smokers are encouraged to stop smoking for the day, and possibly for the rest of their lives.

Sponsored by the JCU chapter of Colleges Against Cancer, this event takes place nationwide annually on the third Thurday of November. This year, the Great American Smokeout falls on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Look for the table in the atrium for free candy with cancer facts and information about lung, throat, mouth, and esophageal cancers.
