JCU's second Relay For
Life raises almost $85,000
May 9, 2008 -- After counting
and double-counting the donations that have come in before, during,
and after this year's very successful Relay For Life, we are pleased
to at last announce the final grand total: $84,743.29. Thanks to your dedication and commitment to supporting this cause, the American Cancer Society’s research, education, advocacy, and service programs have benefitted from our Relay more than even we thought possible over the last two years. This amount speaks volumes about the type of people associated with John Carroll University, and we are so very proud of everyone who volunteered, participated, donated, or otherwise supported our efforts.

to Caitlin Lanning '10 and Katie Stevenson
'10, named today as Co-Chairs of the 2009 Relay For Life.
Caitlin
will lead the Production staff, including logistics, food &
beverage, entertainment, and ceremonies, while Katie will head the Mission staff, including recruitment, public
relations, survivorship, and sponsorship/fundraising. They will round out the
rest of the leadership team soon!
