General Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of any successful Relay! As you no doubt saw in 2007 and 2008, it would be impossible to have such a successful event without the help and support of our wonderful volunteers. There are many opportunities for volunteering prior to, during, and after the event. Some opportunities include:

• Team Recruitment & Publicity
• Campus Fundraising
• Set-Up
• Guides/Ambassadors
• Running Activities & Games
• Entertainer Hospitality and/or General Assistance
• Tear-Down & Clean-Up
• and much more!

A reminder that acting as a volunteer DOES NOT prohibit you from joining a team if you would like to volunteer during the actual Relay events!

Leadership Team Subcommittee Members
Those on the Leadership Team have subcommittees for needed areas to assist the respective chair in the completion of his/her responsibilities. Some opportunities for subcommittee involvement include:

• Recruitment
• Survivorship
• Publicity
• Sponsorships
• Fundraising
• Food & Beverage
• Decorations
• Activities
• Education

Each of these opportunities afford you a wonderful opportunity to become more involved without the heavier time commitment required by members of the Relay Leadership Team.
