Grantsmanship Opportunities |
In support of sponsored research and faculty development, the Academic Vice President's Office is offering registration fees to attend Foundation Center workshops at the Cleveland branch located in the Hanna Building, 1422 Euclid Avenue:
• Proposal Writing Seminar, October 14, 2009, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Proposal Budgeting Workshop, November 6, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
The all-day workshops priced at $195 are geared to those proposal writers targeting a foundation funder. And while not solely oriented to academic proposals, comments from faculty who have attended have been highly favorable.
If you are interested in attending, email Cathy Anson, Director of Sponsored Research. We will base the selection of the registrant on several factors, favoring new grantseekers, those with potential projects, and those whose requests are received the earliest. Participation is limited to tenured and tenure track faculty.
