FELLOWSHIP SUBMISSION PROCESS

Prior to submitting the fellowship application to the agency, internal approval must be secured using the Internal Approval Form for Fellowships. Allow plenty of time to secure approvals if your application requires matching funds or a leave of absence.

Complete the following steps before your submit your application to the agency:

Fill out the Fellowship Internal Approval Form
  Secure the approval signatures of your department chair and dean
  Submit the Approval Form to the Graduate Dean for signature. The Dean will confer with the Academic Vice President on any matching University funds. The signature of the Academic Vice President is required for any faculty leave request.
  After approval, a copy of the application should be sent to the Office of Sponsored Research prior to submission to the agency.
