PRE-AWARD COMPLIANCE

A funding agency will often request compliance statements (agreements to comply with certain standards) from the University as a condition of eligibility and to ensure that the funding agency is dealing with an ethical institution. Individual federal agencies may have separate requirements and procedures for compliance. Grant applications are carefully reviewed by the Office of Sponsored Research to ensure that the University is able to meet the compliance requirements of the agency.

Researcher Compliance

Compliance statements may also be requested of the applicant, such as the filing of a disclosure of interests statement or completion of training requirements.
