  Provides information for improved animal care and use in research, teaching, and testing the US Department of Agriculture. The Animal Welfare Act can be found at the site and at the Rutgers University School of Law Animal Rights Law Project.  
     
USDA: APHIS: Animal Welfare  
  U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Animal Welfare: the agency which monitors compliance with the Animal Welfare Act through inspections, education, and cooperative efforts.

IACUC.ORG  
  IACUC.ORG is produced by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). AALAS is an organization committed to serving society through education and the advancement of responsible laboratory animal care and use. One of AALAS' goals is to be a resource for continuing education, training and knowledge exchange.

  Developed by the American Psychological Association's Committee on Animal Research and Ethics (CARE).  
     
AAALAC International  
  Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care is a private nonprofit organization that promotes the humane treatment of animals in science through a voluntary accreditation program.
