Training at John Carroll

John Carroll’s IRB has developed a 45 minute PowerPoint presentation on the basics of human subject research and the IRB’s policies. Instructors who wish to incorporate this training into their class or would like to schedule a classroom presentation should contact the John Carroll IRB Administrator at 216-397-1527.

Investigators conducting human subject research that need certification of training to comply with an outside institution’s policies or for funding agency purposes may schedule personal IRB training with the John Carroll IRB Administrator. Before meeting with the IRB Administrator, it is recommended that investigators take the online training (use the browse mode) offered by OHRP (the Office of Human Research Protections).
