PERSHING RIFLES COMPANY M-1

Purpose: Company M-1 is a military society open to all students of John Carroll University. The highest percentage of our pledges come from the ranks of the Wolfpack Battalion, but Pershing Rifles welcomes all interested in achieving and maintaining the highest levels of military professionalism and leadership. The training schedule of a new recruit includes a historical study of General Pershing, intense physical training, close-order drill, and the application of small unit infantry tactics.

Events/Activities: As representatives of the US Army and the Wolfpack Battalion, we participate in events requiring a color guard, parades, and special functions throughout Northeast Ohio. We provide color guards for the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers, as well as sporting events for John Carroll and other schools represented in the battalion. We perform services to the local community through sponsoring local blood drives and other volunteer services.
