What is ROTC?
National Emblem
Army ROTC is a program of leadership and management training. It prepares college students for officer responsibilities in the active Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard following graduation. We commission officers for the Army, and develop leaders for our Nation!
John Carroll University is the local Army ROTC headquarters for Cleveland universities, which include Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University, Baldwin-Wallace College, Lake Erie College, Notre Dame College of Ohio and Ursuline College.
While JCU hosts our Military Science (ROTC) program, you can still take ROTC classes here if you are a full time student enrolled in our other participating schools which include:
Baldwin Wallace College
Case Western Reserve University
Cleveland State University
Lake Erie College
Notre Dame College
Oberlin College
Ursuline College
and surrounding Community Colleges.
