What we do there:
Service participants engage in a variety of activities, depending on the population group with whom they are serving. Participants assisting in the afterschool programming help to build literacy, math, science and social studies skills. Service participants working with older adults help with such learning activities as discussion groups, arts and crafts, exercise, games, computer skills, and more. Service participants assisting with the preschool programming work with young children ages 3-5 in various games, crafts, and skill-building activities.
