STUDENTS and VOLUNTARY SERVICE

Students wishing to participate in service on a volunteer basis are welcome to register for any Center for Service and Social Action sponsored service activity, unless it is a restricted activity or an activity that is limited to service learning participants. Whether your service interest lies in tutoring children, working with persons experiencing homelessness, mentoring teens, assisting in a hospice or eldercare facility, or advocating for those with developmental challenges, our office has a wide variety of service opportunities available to you. To search and register for one of our sponsored service activities, simply follow the instructions found under the "Getting Started" link on the left!

Students may also wish to check out our list of "Voluntary Service Opportunities." These are service activities which are not sponsored by the Center, but which may be of interest to volunteers. Lastly, our office will frequently post a "CALL FOR SERVICE" on the JCU root-mail system during the regular academic year, to make students aware of various ad hoc voluntary service opportunities.

Feel free to stop by our office in AD30 or to call us at 216.397.4698 to talk with us about your service interests. We'd be happy to work with you to find a service opportunity that fits your needs!
