Dr.
Kenneth Eslinger, associate professor of the department, previously
served in the faculties of The Ohio State University and Cleveland
State University. Dr. Eslinger received his M.A. and Ph.D.
degrees from The Ohio State University. His courses include
Social Problems, Corporate Power and Mass Society, and Urban
Sociology. Major research interests lie in areas related to
the family and in social structure and processes, which include
poverty and infant mortality. Active in national and regional
associations, he recently served as the vice-president of
the North Central Sociological Association. Dr. Eslinger also
serves as an expert witness in the Federal Court case which
involved a labor contract for auto workers and health care
benefits.
