• Sociology majors and minors have the opportunity to do internships in the specialized tracks within the department:

  • 1) Criminology,
  • 2) Human Service, Health, and Social Justice,
  • 3) Cultural Diversity;
  • 4) and in the interdisciplinary concentrations of Aging Studies or Environmental Studies. Students have done internships in over 75 nonprofit and governmental agencies throughout the Cleveland Metropolitan Area. Internships are available to seniors in their spring semester and students are matched to an internship site based upon their career interests.
