Candidates must earn not less than 128 credit hours,
including all Core and major requirements, with a general average
of at least 2.0 (C) for all course work at John Carroll University.

Candidates must have spent at least the last 30 hours
of instruction in residence.

Candidates must have completed all the course and
proficiency requirements for the degree sought.

Candidates must have completed all the major requirements
with an average of at least 2.0. Similarly, optional minors and concentrations
must be completed with at least a 2.0 average.

Students are held to the degree requirements in force
at the time of their entrance into the college and program. If they
are formally readmitted to the college, they are held to the requirements
in force at the time of their readmission.

All degree requirements normally must be completed
within 10 years of the date on which college work was begun. Exceptions
must be approved by the dean, associate dean, or assistant dean.

Candidates must file an application for degree by
the date specified in the academic calendar.

Candidates must have fulfilled all financial obligations
to John Carroll University.

Attendance at the commencement exercises, though
optional, is expected of all members of a graduating class.
