Wednesday, July 21, 2010 - John Carroll University welcomed University Heights Mayor Susan K. Infeld and Councilman Frank Consolo to campus for a view of the "Greening of Hamlin Quad." It's the latest effort to add green space to the JCU campus, in support of growing sustainability initiatives at the University.

Carol Dietz, associate vice president for facilities, and Dora Pruce, director of government and community relations at John Carroll led Infeld and Consolo on a tour of the Hamlin Quad, which was most recently an asphalt temporary parking lot. The newly seeded area will become a beautiful, spacious lawn for John Carroll's students and neighbors to enjoy!
