Prepare to Make a Difference
The Leadership Development Minor will help you develop the leadership skills you need to make an impact both on and off campus. The minor is interdisciplinary in nature, so you can align it with the needs and interests of your major field of study. Engaging in the study of theoretical, contextual, and practical perspectives of leadership allows students to develop the toolbox of skills necessary to make an impact both on and off campus. The Leadership Development Minor provides students with opportunities to stretch their leadership capacities through a series of courses that will force them to discern about and recognize their individual approaches to leadership, teach them about the effects that leaders can have on followers and justice issues, and develop their abilities to recognize opportunities to create change.
Differentiate yourself. Pursue leadership opportunities on campus and in the community, engage with our global network of more than 1,000 student organizations, and immerse yourself in the College’s unique Jesuit mission.
Learn from the best. Boler’s forward-thinking faculty are leading the charge with experiential, collaborative learning that will challenge you as a thinker and leader.
