The Homecoming & Parents Weekend Block Party will take place on Belvoir Blvd. in front of Hamlin Hall and the Short Family Tennis Complex. The University has arranged for three food trucks and cash bars to be setup at the Block Party. Guests are welcome to bring in food, however no outside alcohol is permitted. The cash bars will serve beer, wine, and hard seltzer and a variety non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks will be approximately $2 per drink. 

  • Belvoir Block Party will begin at 11 a.m. and close at 1:30 p.m. Last call is at 1:15 p.m.
  • Must be 21 or older to consume alcohol. The bar staff reserves the right to check IDs as necessary.
  • Games that promote rapid alcohol consumption are not permitted
  • Propane grills are allowed
  • Wood burning fire pits/charcoal are not permitted
  • Pets are not permitted in the Block Party area
  • JCU is a smoke/tobacco free campus
  • You are responsible for cleaning up anything you bring into the block party by 1:30 p.m.

Attendance at the Block Party is a privilege, not a right. JCU PD reserves the right to remove those not abiding these guidelines.
