Homecoming & Family Weekend 2023 - Tailgate

The Homecoming & Family Weekend Tailgate returns in the Carroll Expansion lot, just east of Hamlin Quad and in between St. Ignatius Hall and Dolan Center for Science and Technology. Tailgating spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, as the area around the parking lot and Hamlin Quad will come to life with food trucks, yard games and other activities. Before arriving on campus, be sure to familiarize yourself with the University's tailgating policies below.

The Homecoming & Parents Weekend Tailgate returns, in the Carroll Expansion lot. just east of Hamlin Quad and in between St. Ignatius Hall (formerly the Administration Building) and Dolan Center for Science and Technology. Limited tailgating spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, as the area around the parking lot and Hamlin Quad will come to life with food trucks, yard games and other activities. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, and alcohol, but must remain within the designated tailgate area and follow all of JCU's tailgating rule

Homecoming and Family Weekend Tailgate will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Must be 21 or older to consume alcohol. JCU PD reserves the right to check IDs as necessary.
Games that promote rapid alcohol consumption are not permitted
Propane grills are allowed
Wood-burning fire pits/charcoal are not permitted
Pets are not permitted in the tailgate area
JCU is a smoke/tobacco-free campus
You are responsible for cleaning up anything you bring to the tailgate by the time you depart

Attendance at the tailgate is a privilege, not a right. JCU PD reserves the right to remove those not abiding these guidelines.
