Veterans Day is when we pause as a nation and give all Americans an opportunity to honor Military Veterans who have served in the past, who are presently serving, and pay tribute to those who will serve in the future. This November 11th, the Cadets from John Carroll University’s Wolfpack Battalion will take part in several events to honor those in the Cleveland area.

On Tuesday, November 9th, Cadets from the Wolfpack Battalion are presenting the National Colors at the Women’s Basketball Game at Cleveland State University. The Color Guard represents the long-time Army tradition of respecting the flag and military service through proper ceremony and procedures of reverence.

On Wednesday, November 10th, Cadets will be performing a Color Guard for a special Veterans event being held at Cleveland State University. Lieutenant Colonel Mike Wroblewski, JCU Professor of Military Science, will be in attendance. Major General John Harris, the Adjutant General of the Army National Guard, will be the featured speaker of the commemoration.

The planting of flags is another tradition to honor Military Veterans. The powerful visual symbol offers respect and gratitude for Americans who choose to protect and defend our country.

This Wednesday, Wolfpack Battalion Cadets will will be planting flags on the CWRU campus to show the ROTC Program's appreciation for Veterans everywhere.

Wolfpack Cadets are excited to be part of these traditions honoring our nation's Veterans this week.  Stop by at one or all of them to show your support!
