The Integrated Marketing & Communications team is part of John Carroll University’s Enrollment & Marketing division, with a primary focus on supporting student recruitment and enrollment efforts as well as high-impact, university-wide strategic initiatives.

We partner with departments, programs, and leadership across campus to share the John Carroll story in ways that inspire action, strengthen our Jesuit mission, and connect with audiences near and far. Whether you’re launching a recruitment campaign, promoting a major event, or advancing a key institutional priority, IMC is here to ensure your message is clear, consistent, and compelling.

About IMC

As part of the Enrollment & Marketing division, we focus on projects that directly support JCU’s enrollment priorities and larger strategic initiatives. From concept to completion, we help you reach the right people with the right message—whether you’re creating a campaign, refreshing your web content, or engaging the news media.

Marketing & Creative Services

We develop marketing materials that are visually compelling, on-brand, and built to inspire action. Our work spans: recruitment and yield campaign materials; print collateral; digital advertising and social graphics; email marketing design; and photography/videography coordination.

Web & Digital Strategy

We create effective, accessible, and user-friendly online experiences that support prospective student engagement and strategic goals: campaign and landing page creation; web content updates; accessibility compliance; analytics and performance tracking.

Media & Public Relations

We amplify JCU’s voice to external audiences through press releases, media outreach, story placement, faculty/staff expert promotion, and crisis or emergency communications.

Brand & Identity Management

We steward and evolve the JCU brand to ensure consistent, powerful storytelling through brand guidelines, logo usage, messaging alignment, and branded templates.

Turnaround times vary based on project scope. Simple updates may take 3–5 business days, while larger campaigns or creative projects may require several weeks. Submit your request early to allow for review and production.

All new projects start with a Project Request Form. This ensures we have the details needed to align your project with JCU’s brand and strategic priorities.

Most projects include at least one review stage for copy and design. Please consolidate feedback from your team before submitting changes to help keep timelines on track.
