Retention and success of student-athletes in college, coaching, communication, and leadership.
What is the most memorable college course you took and why?
It was an undergraduate course. The professor took a personal interest in my progress and I model that philosophy today.
What made you decide to go into your field?
My first experience in a classroom. I was a substitute teacher and really enjoyed the environment along with the back and forth of educating young men and women.
What attracted you to John Carroll University?
The Jesuit mission along with the opportunity to be part of a well-respected faculty at a top-ranked institution.
What are some of your favorite pastimes, interests, or passions outside of work?
I enjoy watching my son work and compete in his athletics. I love spending time with my family, watching Steelers games, playing golf, and working out.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
I am excited to experience the "newness" as a faculty member at JCU. I look forward to transitioning and growing into my role within the Exercise Science and Sports Leadership Department.
