Spend a week on a real college campus—living in the dorms, eating in the dining hall, and discovering how to lead with purpose through the Ignatian tradition of reflection, discernment, and action.

This summer program invites high school students into a week of guided reflection, meaningful dialogue, and hands-on leadership development rooted in Ignatian principles. You’ll explore how to listen deeply—to yourself, to others, and to the needs of the world—and leave with a clarified sense of vocation and a concrete plan to lead with intention in your own community.

Who Will Thrive

This program is for students who enjoy asking big questions, reflecting on their values, and seeking deeper meaning in their experiences. It's especially suited for those who want to engage thoughtfully with their communities and grow in confidence, discernment, and leadership.

What You'll Study

Each day explores practical decision-making and discernment models, real-world examples of values-based leadership, and your own developing leadership style. Throughout the week, you'll design a project that responds to a real need in your school or local community.

How The Week Works

The week blends interactive workshops, guided reflection, and small-group discussion. You'll hear from JCU faculty, staff, and guest speakers in education, ministry, nonprofit work, and social innovation.
