Andrew Welki
Associate Professor
Background
While I was born in Brooklyn, NY, my family moved to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area of Pennsylvania where I spent most of my childhood years. I am the oldest of 8 children. My undergraduate experience was at Wilkes College (at that time) and my graduate education took place at Penn State University. I am an avid sports fan, more at the college level than professional and I am actively involved in the student athletic experience at John Carroll and have served as the Faculty Athletic Representative for JCU for more than 25 years.
