Background
Mr. Palmeri is a practicing lawyer of 49 years and admitted as an attorney-at-law the following courts:
- The Supreme Court of the United States (2002).
- U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit (2002)
- U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio (1978);
- U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio (1978); and
- All of the Ohio state courts (1977)
Areas of Expertise
Charles Palmeri is the founder and principal of the Beachwood, Ohio law firm of Charles J. Palmeri Co., LPA (1983 to present).
He continues to represent and consult with business clients; with extensive experience and expertise in matters of creditors' rights, commercial loan workouts and negotiation, creditor bankruptcy rights, creditor security interest enforcement and real estate litigation.
For the past 30 years, Mr. Palmeri has been recognized, with the highest (AV) Peer Review Rating, in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and has been included in its American Registry of AV Preeminent Attorneys (from 1996 to Present).
He has also been recognized as one of Ohio's top lawyers in the 2012-2015 and 2017-2022 lists of Ohio Super Lawyers in the legal area of creditor rights by Super Lawyers Magazine and by Cleveland Magazine.
Charles Palmeri is currently an Executive in Residence and Instructor of Business Law at the Boler College of Business, John Carroll University teaching courses in business law and healthcare law.

For nearly 37 years, Mr. Palmeri has taught at the Boler College of Business the following courses:MOL 4461 (Legal Environment of Business) and MOL 4463 (Business Law)
- from 1989 to 2018 as an Adjunct Instructor;
- from 2018 to 2023 as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Law; and
- from 2023 to Present as an Adjunct Instructor.
