Dr. Dawn Boettcher, EdD, RN-MSN, is the Director of Nursing and an Associate Professor at John Carroll University with more than 20 years of experience in nursing, nursing education, and academic leadership. She brings a student-centered, mission-driven approach grounded in Jesuit values, with a strong focus on academic quality, program development, and faculty engagement. Since joining John Carroll University in 2024, she has led the BSN program through a successful accreditation process, earning a full five-year accreditation with no compliance concerns. Her leadership has strengthened curriculum alignment, enhanced evaluation processes, and supported continued program growth. Dr. Boettcher is committed to preparing compassionate, competent nurses equipped to lead and serve in an evolving healthcare environment
