Background
Emily Haggerty serves as the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Strategy and Innovation at John Carroll University. With more than 13 years of experience in higher education enrollment management, her career spans first-year and transfer recruitment, new student orientation, event strategy, retention initiatives, CRM implementation and operations, and executive-level leadership. Having worked primarily at small, private institutions in the Greater Cleveland area, Emily is passionate about helping others and finding creative, collaborative solutions.
Beyond her role at John Carroll, Emily serves as president-elect of the Ohio Association of College Admission Counseling (OACAC), representing more than 1,500 admission professionals across colleges, high schools, and community-based organizations statewide. OACAC is the premier, state-wide professional organization supporting students through their college search journey. Emily also works periodically as a Slate CRM consultant, advising institutions on data-driven enrollment strategies and operational efficiency.
