Background
A Washington, DC native, Br. Matt graduated from JCU in 2009 with a degree in Political Science. He served in rural Belize for two years as a volunteer upon graduating. He joined the Jesuits and has studied and worked all over: migrant shelters in Mexico, opioid addiction serves in Washington, DC and Saint Louis, a school counselor in a Latino serving primary school in Milwaukee. For the last few years he has been working and speaking in various higher educational settings leading workshops and retreats for young people.
