Background

Dr. Adana comes from a military background serving in logistics and operations for 14 years at the tactical to strategic levels including international posts like SHAPE Headquarters, Mons, Belgium. His research focuses on supply chain resilience, performance-based contracting, transaction cost economics, analytics, and complexity. In the classroom, he emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and applied learning through case-based and project-based instruction. He also works to strengthen external benchmarking capabilities within supply chain practice and maintains strong engagement with industry partners.
