Dr. Zhang's research specializes in the field of household finance. His research applies empirical methods to understand how and why individuals make certain financial decisions, specifically focusing on the drivers of investor behaviors.

Education
Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, a premier institution in the field. He also earned dual Master's degrees in both Finance and Mathematics, and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. Dr. Zhang is a dedicated educator, and his commitment to teaching excellence has been recognized by the Boler College of Business for three consecutive years (2022 to 2025). Dr. Zhang holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.Courses Taught
