Background

Ayse Selen Zarrelli, M.B.A. (she/her/hers) serves as the Director of the Center for Student Belonging at John Carroll University.

As a first-generation graduate and immigrant, Selen is deeply committed to student advocacy, inclusive programming, and campus-wide education on contemporary social justice issues. Her work supports the university’s broader commitment to cultivating inclusive and affirming environments for all students. Currently, she serves as a board member supporting immigrants in Northeast Ohio and the Greater Cleveland area by connecting them to resources and opportunities.

Students may reach out to Selen for student programming, first generation college student programming, training, supporting curricular work, accessing resources on campus and connections to our external JCU partners.
