Meet alumni carrying out the Jesuit tradition, beyond the classroom.

Read what they have to say about how being a Blue Streak prepared them for career success.

Many of our undergraduates gain valuable experience working with faculty on research projects and presentations at regional and national conferences. At other schools, these opportunities are often reserved for graduate students. These experiences help set JCU alumni apart when seeking employment and securing admission to graduate programs.

Our location 10 miles from downtown Cleveland means that you’ll have year-round access to real-world experience. Our partnerships throughout Northeast Ohio, along with the network of 43,000 John Carroll alumni who own and operate businesses here and across the country, result in innovative experiences for our students.

You’ll have the opportunity to intern at law, healthcare, government, and environmental firms, as well as research laboratories, and nonprofits including organizations such as Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, NASA Glenn Research Center, the Cleveland Botanical Garden, and Sherwin-Williams.

The city is home to three major hospital systems, including the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. Our special partnership with the Clinic allows more than 20 of our students to intern each year in areas such as medical and scientific research, autism care, healthcare information technology, and more.

Linking learning to life: an educational experience that prepares you for complexity, change, and social responsibility.
