John Carroll is a private, coeducational, Catholic and Jesuit university providing programs in the liberal arts, sciences and business at the undergraduate level and in selected areas at the master's level.
The university consists of three schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, the Boler School of Business and the Graduate School. John Carroll operates on a semester calendar, with two 15-week semesters and three summer sessions.

Financial Aid & Scholarships
More than 75% of students receive need-based financial assistance. Aid is comprised of merit scholarships, need-based grants, student employment, and loans. John Carroll strongly encourages each family to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and to follow closely all deadlines for financial aid and scholarships.
