Renewal & Change Requests
Use this page if you are renewing existing accommodations or requesting changes to your plan.
Every semester in AIM
- Request accommodations: Log into AIM and select the courses/accommodations you wish to use.
- Acknowledge SAS policies: Complete any required acknowledgments.
- Send accommodation letters to faculty: Use AIM to deliver letters and discuss logistics with your instructors.

Testing accommodations
Where do I take my test?
- SAS Testing Center — if you use approved specialized software (e.g., text-to-speech, speech-to-text, word processor) or equipment (e.g., computer use noted on your LOA).
- Satellite Testing Center (STC) — for other testing accommodations (e.g., extended time, reduced distraction) when not provided in the classroom/department.
How to schedule
- Email the Test Proctor at testproctor@jcu.edu at least 3 business days in advance with your class name, instructor, date/time, and exam length.
- Complete the student section of the Exam Administration Form and provide it to your instructor (PDF/Word links provided by SAS).
