College of Arts and Sciences
The arts and sciences are the foundation of a John Carroll University education.
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at John Carroll University houses 18 academic departments. Collectively, we offer 70+ majors, minors, concentrations, certifications, pre-professional programs, and graduate degrees. We also serve the entire campus community through JCU’s rich, interdisciplinary core.
Aligned with our institution's Jesuit values, we believe in caring for the whole person. You'll find this reflected in our teaching, mentorship, and community engagement.
About the College
Our diverse and dynamic learning community challenges and inspires Blue Streaks to build a better world.
Research & Faculty Expertise
Our students learn from passionate faculty members who do more than teach. They’re research scientists, authors, public servants, and industry leaders. And they regularly involve students in their scholarship and creative work.
Facilities & Learning Spaces
From leading-edge science labs to modern production facilities, our students learn, experiment, discover, and grow in well-equipped spaces. CAS students also have access to a variety of academic support services.
