About the Partnership

The Boler Partner Program is an ongoing relationship between an employer and the Boler College of Business. Boler has long connected employers across Cleveland and Northeast Ohio with the talent that drives the region's economy. Throughout the year, partners take part in the life of the College — meeting students, joining campus events, recruiting for open roles and internships, and helping shape how students prepare for their careers.

At the center of the partnership is the Boler Professional Development (BPD) Program. It's the framework through which partner organizations work alongside the College to develop, meet, and hire Boler students.

The program also recognizes its highest-achieving students through the BPD Executive Circle, celebrated each semester at the Executive Circle Dinner.

Rooted in John Carroll's Jesuit tradition, the partnership shares a single aim: forming capable, principled business leaders who serve the common good.

Are you an employer who wants to be part of that work? Boler partners help shape the next generation of principled business leaders while connecting with the talent that drives Northeast Ohio forward. Reach out to explore how a partnership could fit your organization.

How BPD Prepares Students

From the first year to graduation, BPD builds the skills and experience employers look for.

Four Years of Preparation

BPD begins in the first year, so students spend four years practicing professional skills rather than learning them at the last minute.

Practiced Professional Skills

Through structured workshops, students build what employers rely on most: communication, networking, interviewing, and workplace presence.

Interview Practice

Mock interviews with employers give students real practice and feedback before they meet a hiring manager.

Employer Connections

Career fairs, information sessions, and the partner network put students in front of employers throughout their time at Boler.

Real-World Experience

Internships and direct engagement with employers give students experience with real business challenges before they graduate.

Confidence and Direction

Beginning in the first year, students clarify their goals and build the confidence to pursue the right path.
