Tuition Exchange & Employee Tuition Benefits
Tuition exchange and employee tuition benefits for families working in higher education.
John Carroll participates in tuition exchange programs for families working in higher education. All programs are available to dependent children of eligible employees who meet admission standards. Eligible employees are determined by the employing home institution of the family.
Priority consideration is given to:
- Students applying for first-year admission directly from high school. Transfer students will be considered on a space-available basis.
- Students who apply by the Early Action deadline of November 1.
- Students whose home institution submits eligibility certification by December 1.
This benefit is not guaranteed and can be a competitive process. Demand often exceeds available spots. Decisions are typically released in late January.
Important: Students awarded a JCU Faculty and Staff Tuition Grant or a Tuition Exchange Grant via FACHEX, TEP, or CIC-TEP will have all previously earned merit scholarships and grants replaced by the tuition grant.
