Federal regulations (34 CFR 668.43) require John Carroll University to tell you whether each program that leads to a professional license or certification meets the educational requirements for that license in each state. For every program below, JCU faculty have determined the states where the curriculum meets those requirements and the states where it does not.
What these lists cover. A determination covers the program's curriculum only. State exams, background checks, fees, supervised experience after graduation, and short state-specific courses are separate. Meeting the educational requirements does not guarantee a license.
These determinations apply whether you take the program on campus or online. State requirements change, so check with the licensing board in your state before you enroll and again before you apply for a license. If you plan to move, contact your program first.
