Class mix & community
Sutowski Hall anchors sorority residential life and also houses women on open floors. Rising sophomores selecting Sutowski should confirm sorority versus open-floor pathways with Residence Life.
Policies & housing over academic breaks
Residence halls remain open for fall, Thanksgiving, spring, and Easter breaks at no additional cost. Students simply register through the housing portal a few weeks in advance to remain on campus.
Residence halls fully close during winter break for approximately four days. After that period, limited on-call housing coverage resumes for student-athletes and others approved to return early. Students should plan to take any essentials with them for the break, as residence hall access will not be available during the closure period.
Rates & deposits
Housing deposit: A $300 housing deposit is required and held for the duration of your residency. It is refunded at graduation or withdrawal, minus any applicable damage or outstanding charges. The deposit is not applied to your first-semester charges. 2026–27 rates above; multi-year rate sheet available on request.
All rates are per resident. Housing is covered by federal and institutional financial aid on the same terms as tuition and fees. For questions about aid application to housing, contact the Office of Financial Aid.
