Curriculum
Curriculum: What You Will Learn
Built around leadership practice, the curriculum moves from Leadership Lab through managerial accounting, strategy, analytics, marketing, financial strategy and ethics and social responsibility. Two general electives and three 1-credit weekend on-campus residencies round out the program. Foundational prerequisites in accounting, economics, analytics, and finance can be waived if you’ve covered equivalent material as an undergraduate.
Admission
To apply to the Professional MBA program at JCU, you need:
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- A minimum GPA of 2.8
The Professional M.B.A. program is designed primarily for those with five or more years of full-time, professional work experience.
The following documents are required for a complete application:
- Online application
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
- Resume
- Letter(s) of recommendation - one is required; you may submit up to three
- Statement of purpose - one to two pages giving us your background and explaining how an MBA will help you achieve your goals for work and life
GMAT and GRE scores are not required, but you may include them in your application.
