***MEDIA ALERT*** John Carroll University’s English Department proudly welcomes:   Dave Lucas ’02 Award-Winning Poet   Monday, May 2, 2011 7:30 p.m.   Dolan Center for Science and Technology / Donahue Auditorium This lecture is free and open to the public.   WHO:          Dave Lucas is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a 2002 John Carroll University graduate. He is the recipient of a Henry Hoyns Fellowship from the University of Virginia and a “Discovery”/The Nation Prize. His poems have appeared in many journals including Paris Review, Poetry, and Slate.
