Cleveland, OH - John Carroll University’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team has been named the winner of the regional SIFE competition, held on March 17. The JCU team will now head to the organization’s national competition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 10-12. SIFE is a global, non-profit organization that is literally changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1,400 university campuses in 33 countries. SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses that are led by faculty advisors and the students are challenged to develop community outreach projects. The winning John Carroll SIFE projects include: Capital Markets: Training over 1,000 students on Capital Markets on an interactive website Bridging the Digital Divide: Placing 35 computers in Zaire for children who previously did not have access to computing Be a Millionaire by the Time You’re 40: Helping students understand investing and finance George C.
