About the Institute

Established through the generosity of the F.J. O'Neill Charitable Corporation and other donors, the Ignatian Spirituality Institute is an affiliate of John Carroll University's Office of Mission and Identity. The Institute provides formation in Ignatian spirituality for those called to accompany others in their spiritual lives.

ISI serves the broader Cleveland community and beyond, training spiritual directors who go on to serve in parishes, retreat centers, campus ministries, and other settings. Graduates also provide spiritual direction to JCU faculty, staff, and students.
