Residence Halls
Most first-year students live in Dolan, Hamlin, or Campion, close to classmates, dining, classes, and the routines that help campus start to feel familiar.
The residential experience is the heart of a JCU education. Most students live on campus all four years, and this is intentional. Being part of a supportive community is proven to contribute to academic success. It’s also convenient. You’ll be close to class, club meetings, and coffee.
Housing options expand each year — from your first-year hall to apartment-style living — while you stay close to class, friends, and everything in between.

After your first year, housing selection expands with additional residence hall and suite-style options available through the student housing selection process.
Upperclass options can include suite-style halls, JCU-owned houses and duplexes near campus, and apartment-style housing at Fairmount Circle.
By your final year, housing can feel more independent while keeping you connected to campus life, including new options at Gateway North.
