The Healthcare Career Foundations Minor consists of 18-22 credits, including electives. To develop foundational knowledge and skills for future healthcare delivery, you will complete the following:

 

Required Courses (2 credits total):

  • Health Professions Foundations
  • Survey of Health Professions

Electives (16-20 credits):

  • Choose three Science electives from options like Principles of Biology, Human Anatomy and General Chemistry.
  • Choose one Ethical Leadership elective, such as Leadership and Social Justice or Bioethics.
  • Choose one Cultural Competency elective from a variety of courses, including Epidemiology or Public Health in U.S. Society.
