As an admitted student, you may make a one-time request to have your merit scholarship award reconsidered by the Scholarship Committee. In order for a reconsideration of scholarship to occur, you’ll need to submit an official ACT or SAT score report with new or updated scores that were not part of your originally submitted application materials by February 1, 2024

An official score report with new or updated scores must be submitted directly to John Carroll University from the College Board or ACT, or from your college counselor. You will also need to notify your admission counselor by email that you are having new scores sent and that you are formally requesting a scholarship appeal.

Students who indicated that they did not want scores to be considered as part of their application may elect to change their decision by emailing their admission counselor by February 1, 2024. An official score report must be submitted directly to John Carroll University from the College Board or ACT, or from your high school counselor by February 1, 2024.

Please note providing new scores does not guarantee a change in a student's scholarship level. We are also not able to consider senior grades as part of your scholarship appeal.
