Dates:

Transfer students are required to register for one of these Transfer Registration days on campus, where they will meet with an advisor to put together a course schedule for the upcoming semester:

2023 Transfer Registration Dates

  • January 13 (register by January 6)
  • August 24 (register by August 17)

Transfer students will be approved to meet with an advisor for course registration priot to Transfer Registration Day if: 1) a final official transcript from the student's most recent institution attended has been received and evaluated; and 2) foreign language placement testing (if required) has been completed. If these requirements are completed and you are able to meet with an advisor in advance to schedule your classes for the upcoming semester, you will not need to attend the in-person Transfer Registration Day. Refer to your JCU Gateway portal for more information.

Additionally, all transfer students will be invited to the Transfer Transition Lunch and Learn on Friday, August 25 from noon - 2:00p. In addition to enjoying lunch with some current JCU students and staff, you will learn about some important campus resources, ask any questions you might have before classes start, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of campus that highlights the spaces most commonly used by students.

A Transfer Welcome Reception will also be held during the second week of classes. More details will be available about this event as the date draws near.
