The Military Times ranks John Carroll University among the four-year colleges and universities that are "Best for Vets" nationwide. John Carroll received the highest rating among schools in Northeast Ohio. Institutions of higher education across the U.S. were invited to to fill out a rigorous survey of approximately 150 questions, about their operations involving current and former service members and their families. Enrollment data, veteran education agreements, tuition assistance, and academic support programs are among the categories that were included in the survey. John Carroll participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which is available to undergraduate and graduate students. John Carroll has committed to 100% participation in this program so that eligible veterans can achieve a high quality education at a private university with no cost to them.
