The Walter and Mary Tuohy Chair of Interreligious Studies brings to the department distinguished visiting scholars for courses and public lectures. Dr. David L. Barr, Tuohy Chair Holder for 2012-2013, will give several public lectures during the Spring in 2013 on "Jerusalem, Jesus, and Jihad: End Times Scenarios in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam."

- David L. Barr, Ph.D., professor at Wright State University, will be the Tuohy professor for 2012-2013. Dr. Barr's research focuses on eschatology. Along with his six public lectures, he will also be teaching a course in spring 2013 on "Reading the Apocalypse."
